How to Choose the Best Email Service Provider (ESP)
"Why do I even need an email service provider?" you may be wondering. I have a Gmail account and can use it to send emails to my friends and relatives."

The truth is, you should not send mass business emails to your list using your free email provider. You will not only be violating email marketing opt-in regulations but also have no method to increase your list.

When selecting an email service provider, be certain that you can:

  • Build a list of subscribers who have opted-in to your emails.
  • Send emails to several recipients at the same time.
  • Set up automated email campaigns.
  • Create signup forms that can be placed on your website and landing pages.
  • Be able to tag and segment your subscribers.
Signing up with an email service provider (ESP) designed particularly to help you maintain and expand your list is critical, and MailerLite, in my opinion, is the way to go. I presently use it, and it's especially appealing to newcomers because it's free for the first 1000 members, and you still have access to all of their services. This makes it excellent for use as you build your email list because you can try out all of the different email marketing tools for free.

You may apply the methods and tactics you learn in this lesson with any ESP; but, I've personally tested with a variety of ESPs over the years, and I recommend
MailerLite to you since it contains everything I need to develop my business while remaining highly intuitive and straightforward to use.
